BMC SPRINGER
---Graphic Designer role in marketing department at the international scientific publishers, that challenged my communication abilities as well as creative and technical skills. Being the main company’s designer, the responsibilities included designing all sorts of printed (editorial, conference and informational material) and online media, such as layouts, brochures, catalogues, posters, postcards, banners, billboards and internal websites. Developed great time-management and organisational skills as well as working independently and with own initiative.
LIBERTY
---One month internship in Liberty plc (London) in design studio where typographic and layout projects have been undertaken. Designed Graphics for web, exhibitions, fashion shows, as well as swing Tags, Display Posters, informational brochures and other printed media for retail and fashion environment.
MERRELL PUBLISHERS
---One month internship with publishing company Merrell in design studio, where tasks included working with book’s images and layouts, its retouching, working with PDF, Photoshop, InDesign and Quark files, preparing the files for production and print. A good knowledge of the design industry has been formed through attended meetings with printers, designers and marketing teams. An experience of thorough understanding of essential picture researching and its retouching and all printing processes has been gained while working there. Tasks also included organising sales conference and preparing files, mock-ups of books and other material for the London Book Fair.
FREELANCE PROJECTS
---Freelance projects for conference company “Adam Smith”. Designed brochures, advertisements and posters for the company.
Patisserie Floridia’s identity and branding. Designed company’s business cards, brochures and other promotional material.
Brochures for White’s Travel Company.
Designed a number of inforamtional and creative websites, including my own.
Designed a series of books, magazines and promotional materials (posters, postcards, leaflets) for university final project.
Undertook all kinds of design projects at university, such as advertising, magazine, book, logotype and CD cover design, as well as other typography orientated projects.
